Sunday, April 23

  • A male was arrested for assault and criminal mischief in the area of Tyee Road.

  • Tribal police contacted the owner of an abandoned vehicle in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. The owner was advised to pick up their vehicle or it would be towed.

  • A female flagged down a Tribal officer for assistance, but declined assistance as she was hoping for a certain officer to respond.

  • A check issue was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers investigated and determined it was a civil issue.

  • A DUII driver was called in, possibly heading toward Grand Ronde. Tribal police did not see the vehicle.

  • A possible child neglect was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police investigated and determined no crime had been committed.

  • A possible DUII driver was called in on Salmon River Highway. Tribal police located the vehicle and determined the driver was not under the influence. The driver was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.

  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police responded and determined no assault occurred. The parties were warned not to cause any further public disturbances.

Monday, April 24

  • A fraud case was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

  • A female reported a possible stalking issue to Tribal police.

  • A sex crime was reported to Tribal police, who are investigating.

  • Tribal police were requested to assist Polk County deputies with contacting a Grand Ronde citizen. An officer located the citizen and provided the deputy’s phone number.

  • A male citizen reported a threatening phone call to Tribal police from a relative in California.

  • Tribal police and Polk County Sheriff’s deputies were requested to assist Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office personnel with a vehicle pursuit. Tribal police responded and assisted Lincoln County deputies.

Tuesday, April 25

  • A broken manhole cover was discovered on Grand Ronde Road. Tribal police stood by until the hazard was cleared.

  • Tribal police cited the suspect in the fraud case from April 24.

  • A possible menacing was reported in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police investigated and determined no crime had been committed.

  • A citizen reported youths smoking marijuana on Grand Ronde Road.

  • Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office deputies requested Tribal police respond to Willamina to assist with a domestic disturbance. Tribal police responded, but the request was cancelled before they arrived.

  • An assault was reported in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

Wednesday, April 26

  • Tribal police continued investigating several cases and located new evidence.

  • Polk County deputies requested Tribal police respond to assist a deputy with a DUII investigation.

  • A possible fraud was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police determined no crime had been committed.

Thursday, April 27

  • A drug complaint was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police investigated and determined that drug activity had not occurred.

  • Tribal police attempted to locate a robbery suspect for the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office.

Friday, April 28

  • A wallet was reported stolen in the area of Fort Hill Road. Polk County deputies requested Tribal police’s assistance as they were out of the area.

  • Tribal police assisted Oregon State Police with a DUII crash.

  • Tribal police assisted Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a missing person reported to have fallen into a river.

Saturday, April 29

  • A parking complaint was reported in Tribal housing.

  • A male was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road.

  • A possible fraud case was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. After an investigation, Tribal police determined no fraudulent activity had occurred.

  • A cell phone was reported stolen in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

Sunday, April 30

  • Tribal police responded to Willamina to provide cover to Yamhill County Sheriff’s deputies who were responding to a domestic disturbance. A male was detained.

  • Medics and Tribal police were requested to the area of Wind River Drive for a possible overdose call. One male was transported to the hospital.

Monday, May 1

  • A firearm was found on Agency Creek. Tribal police have secured it for safekeeping until the owner comes forward.

  • A possible hit and run occurred in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

  • Tribal police assisted the Polk County Mobile Crisis Response Team with a call on Grand Ronde Road.

  • Woodburn police requested Tribal police contact a possible witness in a case on Grand Ronde Road. The information was gathered and given to Woodburn police.

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a stolen car report.

Tuesday, May 2

  • The vehicle that was abandoned in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway was towed.

  • Tribal police assisted Yamhill County deputies with a possible menacing call.

  • A Department of Health Services report was taken regarding child welfare.

  • Tribal police and the Polk County Mobile Crisis Response Team responded to the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway for a report of a person making threats.

  • A suspicious person was called in to police in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police investigated and determined a crime had not occurred.

  • Tribal police arrested a male on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Wednesday, May 3

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies with an assault investigation. One male was arrested.

  • A Tribal police officer assisted a motorist with changing a flat tire.

  • Tribal police and Tribal security personnel responded to Grand Ronde Road for a person riding their all-terrain vehicle on Tribal lands. The individual was warned against trespassing in the future.

  • Polk County requested Tribal police respond to the area of Steel Bridge Road in Sheridan to assist with a domestic disturbance.

  • Tribal police responded to the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway for report of a person trying to sell marijuana to guests. Police are investigating.

Thursday, May 4

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies with a burglary in progress in the 6000 block of Ridgeway Road. A male was arrested.

  • Polk County deputies investigated a fraud case on Grand Ronde Road. Tribal police assisted. A subject was arrested.

  • A theft was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

Friday, May 5

  • Tribal police assisted with several civil issues.

  • The suspect in the theft from May 4 was contacted and agreed to pay back the money.

  • Tribal police were called to assist Yamhill County and Polk County deputies with a DUII investigation.

Saturday, May 6

  • Tribal police received a fraud and theft report from Yamhill County deputies that occurred in Grand Ronde. Tribal police are investigating.

  • The money was returned by the suspect from May 4.

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County with a vehicle crash on Yamhill River Road.

  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the area of Raven Loop. Tribal police responded and determined that a crime had not occurred.

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies with a traffic stop. Individuals were cited for open container violations.

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County with a domestic disturbance on Grand Ronde Road involving weapons. One subject was arrested.
