Bernadette Renee Feehan

Oct. 10, 1973 – Nov. 15, 2020

Bernadette “Bernie” Feehan will be remembered as a ray of sunshine to her family and many friends. She was a genuine soul who made everyone she met feel like the closest of friends.

Bernie was born on Oct. 10, 1973, to James and Barbara Feehan (McKnight) and raised in Oregon, a member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. She graduated from La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Milwaukie, Ore., in 1991 and attended Portland State University.

She lived on Maui, Hawaii, for most of her adult life, working in and managing restaurants and working at the local Kihei farmers market, where she treated customers as old friends. She also loved her pet felines.

Her tremendous love of life, of Maui, of friends and family, and of partner Kevin always will be remembered.

Bernie was a beloved daughter, sister, auntie and friend to many.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Feehan, of McMinnville; and sister, Kathleen George and husband, Rick, of McMinnville; and three nephews, Sean and Noah Gerbrandt of McMinnville and Dylan George of Eugene.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Feehan, in 2015.

Condolences can be made to www.ballardfamilymortuaries.com. Donations in honor of Bernie can be made to Aloha House Maui or the Alzheimer’s Association. After COVID-19 challenges have passed, the family will plan a gathering to remember and honor Bernie with her family and friends.
