Tribal Elder Anna Marie Hannan-Lyon, 74, of Dayton walked on Friday, Oct. 28, in McMinnville with the love of her life, Harold, by her side.

Anna was born Aug. 21, 1942, to Johnny Pichette and Wanda Phillips. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, John Phillips.

Survivors include her husband, Harold, of Dayton; daughter, Vanita Roland of Brookings, Ore.; son, Kenneth Phillips of Yuma, Ariz.; sisters, Alice and Kelly; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Anna was a proud member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde where she served for several years on the Health Committee.

Anna touched many people’s lives through her work in social work and in her personal life. Anna appreciated her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde gym, 9615 Grand Ronde Road, with interment at Grand Ronde Cemetery. A meal will be held in the Elders Activity Center after burial.

A viewing will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Macy and Son, 135 N.E. Evans St., McMinnville.

Macy and Son is assisting with the services.
