at the 2011 Grand Ronde Contest Powwow this year held at Uyxat Powwow Grounds near Fort Yamhill State Park. Dances honored Elders who have walked on. Emerald ash borer poses a concern for vital wetlands tree

in the spring. The young trees are typically cut down in order to harvest all of the bark and the wood is used to make handles for knives and other implements.
