Tests show bacteria in Grand Ronde water

10.31.2014 Ron Karten Health & Wellness, Public safety

The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde has been notified of a "non-emergency" detection of coliform bacteria in the Tribe's drinking water source provided by the Grand Ronde Community Water Association.
Though this is characterized as a "non-emergency" by the association, it is the recommendation of the Tribe's Executive Office that as a precaution you do not drink tap water and switch for your drinking water consumption to bottled water until advised otherwise.
