IHS Scholarship Workshop set for Feb. 23

Laurie Veitenheimer, regional Indian Health Service representative, will be in Grand Ronde to discus IHS Scholarships at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in Adult Education Room 124.

The 2012 application deadline is March 28. Applicants must be an enrolled member or descendant of a federally recognized Tribe, state-recognized Tribe or terminated Tribe.

Scholarships are available is three categories of health care work -- Health Professionals Preparatory, Health Professionals Pre-Graduate and Health Professionals.
