Camp Dakota set for June 16-17

The Tribe's Youth Education Program is holding a two-day Camp Dakota in Scotts Mills on Thursday and Friday, June 16-17, that is open to male Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde members, descendants and enrolled Native Americans who were in sixth, seventh or eighth grade during the 2010-11 school year.

The camp will start with a trip to the Oregon Zoo in Washington Park in Portland and then will travel and include going through a ropes course, riding a zipline, playing paintball and running radio-controlled cars over the two days.
