2024 Contest Powwow

The 2024 Contest Powwow will begin Friday August 16, with the Royalty Pageant in the Governance Building at 11 a.m. and Grand Entry beginning at 5 p.m. at uxyat Powwow Grounds. Powwow continues through Saturday, August 17, and Sunday, August 18.

Fish Distribution - Aug. 15 - Aug. 17, 2024

The 2024 annual fish distribution will be held Thursday, Aug. 15, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 16, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 17, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

12th Annual End of Summer Community BBQ

Youth Empowerment & Prevention is hosting a BBQ and movie night in Tribal Housing in Aug. 23. Dinner will be provided at 6:30 and movie begins at dusk. Location and movie title will be announced on the YEP Facebook page.

Out of Darkness Walk

Event unites communities and provides opportunities to acknowledge the way in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected the Tribal community. 15 spots for youth available. 

Tuesday, Oct. 1, YEP hosting suicide prevention discussion at the Youth Education building.

Boarding School Records Listening Session

Part of the efforts to digitize and catalog records from Chemawa, Cushman and Mt. Edgecumbe Indian boarding schools. Meal provided. Listening session led by the NABS Digital Archives team in collaboration with the Grand Ronde Tribal Library.

Recreation Center Community Input Meeting - Rescheduled

Grand Ronde community members are encouraged to join a special meeting about the Recreation Center Project. This meeting will be a hybrid meeting held in the Tribal Governance Building and on Zoom.

41st Restoration Celebration (day one)

Doors open at 10 a.m., Canoe Family begins at 10:30 a.m., program starts at 11 a.m. with a Tomanowos exhibit and panel. Meal will be served at 11:30 and drawings for prizes at 1 p.m.
