The Tribe will be distributing food boxes on Thursday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. (or when boxes run out) at the Grand Ronde Procurement building and at the Portland office. One box per Tribal member or three boxes per vehicle if release form is presented. 400 boxes are available including carrots, bison, honey, potatoes, cauliflower, apples and oatmeal. The Chinuk Wawa Education Program is hosting a Winter Stories Night at the longhouse on Saturday, Feb. 17. Doors open at 4:30, dinner begins at 5 with storytelling to follow. 

First Lineal Descendancy Workshop of 2024. This workshop may have limited online participation; the meeting is intended to be informational / informal. The goal will be to gather thoughts / feedback on draft language for a Constitutional amendment.

April's offsite General Council meeting will be held at Lane Community College and over Zoom at 11 a.m.

The 2024 Contest Powwow will begin Friday August 16, with the Royalty Pageant in the Governance Building at 11 a.m. and Grand Entry beginning at 5 p.m. at uxyat Powwow Grounds. Powwow continues through Saturday, August 17, and Sunday, August 18. 

The Tribe is introducing its new health benefits administrator Forest County Potawatomi with a BBQ dinner on Tuesday, June 11, at the Grand Ronde Community Center. Begins at 5:30 p.m.

The 2024 annual fish distribution will be held Thursday, Aug. 15, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 16, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 17, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
