Michael Lee Hensley

Tribal member Michael Lee Hensley, a lifetime resident of Aberdeen, Wash., died on May 8, 2023, at the age of 42 in Aberdeen.

Michael was born in Olympia, Wash., on July 20, 1980, to parents Dale E. and Donna (Erickson) Hensley. He was raised in Aberdeen and attended Aberdeen and Montesano schools.

Surviving relatives include his mother, Donna Erickson of Aberdeen; father, Dale Hensley of Central Park, Wash.; brother, Craig Hensley of Alaska; sister, Alissa Aarhaus of Cosmopolis, Wash.; and grandmother, Elsie Hensley of Albuquerque, N.M. There are also many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts in the extended family.

An urn committal service was held on Thursday, May 18, at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Coleman Mortuary Inc. in Hoquiam, Wash.
