Sunday, Feb. 12

  • The stolen cell phone from Feb. 10 was returned to the victim.

  • Driving complaint on Highway 18 and Hebo Road. Tribal police located the vehicle and the driver was OK.

  • Tribal police observed a vehicle with a wallet on top of the vehicle drive on to Highway 18 in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway, and the wallet fell to the road. The officer recovered the wallet and caught up to the vehicle and returned it to its owner.

  • A stolen wallet was reported in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. Officers are investigating.

  • Tribal police assisted a motorist who ran out of gas on Highway 18.

  • Driving complaint on Highway 18: Vehicle driving at high speeds. Officers were unable to locate vehicle.

  • Welfare check on Highway 18: A reported medical issue. Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the person was OK.

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a DUII investigation on Salmon River Highway.

Monday, Feb. 13

  • Two alarms were reported in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. One was a medical transport and the other was an accidental activation.

  • An assault was reported to Tribal police that occurred in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. Officers investigated.

  • Tribal police were requested to assist Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a possible pursuit, but the request was cancelled before police could arrive.

  • Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office deputies requested Tribal police assist with a disturbance in Willamina. Officers assisted Yamhill County with the investigation.

  • An assault was reported to Tribal police that occurred in Polk County’s jurisdiction. Tribal police gave the information to Polk County.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

  • False alarm in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road due to an accidental activation.

  • Tribal police assisted with a civil vehicle issue in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.

  • Tribal police, Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 7000 block of Alvord Alley for report of criminal mischief.

  • Tribal police and Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a traffic crash and disturbance in the 9000 block of Harmony Road.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

  • Alarm on Hebo Road due to an accidental activation.

  • Alarm in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road due to an accidental activation.

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies in the Hebo Road/Salmon River Highway area with a reported domestic assault.

  • Fraud reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police investigating.

  • Driving complaint regarding possible DUII drivers in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers investigated.

  • Drugs were located in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. Tribal police investigating.

  • Tribal police responded to a disturbance in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.

Thursday, Feb. 16

  • Citizen contact at the Tribal Police Station. A citizen was recently released from jail and came by to pick up their personal property.

  • An anonymous tip was received by Tribal police that a person with an arrest warrant was in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway, but police were unable to locate the individual.

  • Tribal police and the Department of Human Services investigated a possible child neglect report.

  • Tribal police assisted Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a prowler suspect in Sheridan.

Friday, Feb. 17

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a domestic disturbance on Yamhill River Road.

  • A theft of a purse from the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road was reported to Tribal police.

  • Tribal police assisted with an injured deer on Hebo Road.

  • Driving complaint on Highway 22 headed toward Grand Ronde. Tribal police were unable to locate the vehicle.

  • Domestic disturbance reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police assisted.

  • Tribal police assisted a motorist who ran out of gas.

Saturday, Feb. 18

  • Traffic assist: A motorist went into the ditch on Salmon River Highway. Tribal police assisted.

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a reported domestic assault in the area of Grand Ronde Road.

  • Driving complaint reported to be headed toward Grand Ronde. Tribal police waited, but the vehicle did not come into Grand Ronde.

  • Tribal police took a report of a car prowl in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.

  • Two additional driving complaints were investigated by Tribal police.

  • Tribal police took a report of an illegally parked vehicle.

Sunday, Feb. 19

  • A car prowl was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

  • Tribal police assisted Polk County with arresting a domestic violence suspect on Andy Riggs Road.

  • Tribal police took a report of a stolen vehicle in the area of Coyote Court. Officers are investigating.

  • A citizen called Tribal police for an update on their case.

  • Tribal police responded to the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway for report of a stalking issue. Police investigated and found the issue to be a mental illness issue.

Monday, Feb. 20

  • Tribal police located the stolen vehicle from Feb. 19 in the Salem area. The vehicle was returned to the victim.

  • Tribal police arrested one of the suspects involved in the vehicle theft.

  • Polk County Sheriff’s deputies and Tribal police checked on a subject who was reported to be suicidal in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. The individual was in good health.

  • A Tribal member called Tribal police to report that she had not been receiving Tribal money. She was directed to check with Member Services.

  • Tribal police were called regarding individuals smoking methamphetamine in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway in their vehicle. Officers investigated, located a meth pipe and arrested one individual.

  • Tribal police responded to Andy Riggs Road to assist firefighters and Polk County with a reported residential fire.

  • Mental health call in the area of Tyee Road. Tribal police responded and assisted an individual in crisis, and provided resources for help.

  • Traffic assists: Police assisted multiple people on the highways during the night.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

  • Tribal police charged a suspect with witness tampering.

  • Officers continued to investigate theft of a missing wallet.

  • Tribal police began investigating a missing vest that was used in a powwow.

  • A call was received regarding cocaine being located in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

  • Tribal officers arrested a male for DUII, driving while suspended and possession of a controlled substance in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.

  • A trace amount of illegal drugs was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.

  • Officers continued to look for the second suspect wanted in connection with the reported vehicle theft.

  • 911 call in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. Tribal officers arrived and found a male who was non-responsive. Medics were called.

  • Officers received a call from a citizen requesting assistance with a transportation issue, but the citizen did not respond to additional phone calls.

  • Oregon State Police requested Tribal police assist with a vehicle that was reported to be driving erratically. Officers did not locate the vehicle.

  • 911 hang-up call from the 27000 block of Jahn Road. Polk County deputies and Grand Ronde Tribal police responded and assisted.

  • Tribal police located a black cat that had been struck by a vehicle on Grand Ronde Road.

  • An officer assisted a citizen who needed help with pumping gas.

Thursday, Feb. 23

  • Two alarms, both were false alarms.

  • Tribal police assisted Yamhill County Sheriff’s deputies with arresting a subject with a warrant on Yamhill River Road.

  • Yamhill County requested Tribal police assistance with searching for a missing child in the 28000 block of Salmon River Highway.

  • A driving complaint was received regarding a vehicle unable to maintain its lane. Officers located the driver, who was eating and driving.

  • Another driving complaint was received regarding a possible DUII driver, but due to the delay in the report officers were unable to locate the driver.

  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police investigated and found no crime had occurred.

Friday, Feb. 24

  • A call was received regarding a dog running loose in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Animal control was contacted.

  • Tribal police received a call regarding a possible break-in at a residence. The call was forwarded to Polk County Sheriff’s Office as it occurred in their jurisdiction.

  • A driving complaint was investigated by Tribal police.

  • Tribal police and Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office located a wanted subject. The subject had multiple valid arrest warrants and was arrested by Tribal police. Additional charges were added regarding possession of a controlled substance.

Saturday, Feb. 25

  • Two false alarms on Hebo Road.

  • Tribal police assisted Oregon State Police in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. The driver was cited for failure to move over for an emergency vehicle.

  • A driving complaint was received with very little information. Officers were unable to locate the driver.

  • A welfare check was conducted in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway for two children left unattended. The children were old enough to be alone, so no crime was found.
