2011 – Tribal Council Chairwoman Cheryle A. Kennedy and Tribal Council Secretary Jack Giffen Jr. attended the third annual White House Tribal Nations Conference held in Washington, D.C. They met Assistant Secretary of the Interior-Indian Affairs Larry Echo Hawk and heard President Barack Obama address the gathering of Tribal representatives.

2006 – Tribal member Steve Bobb Sr. and his son, Steve Bobb Jr., installed signs they made for the Adult Foster Care lodges. They made three signs signifying the name of the lodge and the animal it was named after.

2001 – Richard Sass paid the Tribe back $2.6 million that was a loan that he took out two years previously to invest in a startup company he was managing. Portland-based Micro Helix developed customized electronic interconnect systems that permit the transmission of electronic signals between two devices.

1996 – Public Works Manager John Mercier reported on current capital projects, including phase one of the manufactured housing park, design and construction of the Health and Wellness Center, construction of a new Natural Resources office complex and preliminary designs of a new administration building. Mercier said that a majority of the projects will be completed in 1997.

1991 – Cathy Cline took over as the newsletter director for the Tribe. “I feel that Smoke Signals is a unique newsletter and I am looking forward to meeting more of the people it represents,” she wrote.

1986 – Tribal Enrollment Clerk Margo George reported that Tribal membership had increased to 1,983 members.
