Chili Challenge to benefit local Food Bank

The Great Chili Challenge and Chow-Down on Saturday, April 30, at the Tribal Community Center will help fund the work of the Grand Ronde Community Resource Center's Food Bank.

Chili judging will occur at 4 p.m. and an awards ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. A chili feed will occur afterward in the Community Center.

A bowl of chili will cost $3.50 with cornbread and desserts available for $1 and drinks for $1.25. Pie-eating contests and 50/50 raffles are also scheduled.

Chili cook-off contestants must register in advance although there are no registrations fees.
