Dear Smoke Signals:

Thank you for recalling the history information in the Yesteryears – a look back – history.

I was privileged to be chosen by appointment of the Tribal Council to become a member of the Kwelth Tahlkie Cultural Heritage Society in 1996 for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. The interpretation of Kwelth Tahlkie is “bright tomorrow” and we were named by Tribal Elder Ila Dowd.

I appreciate the memory walk.
