Tribal Council sets June 13 as next per capita date

Tribal Council designated Friday, June 13, as the next per capita payment date during a brief special meeting held on Wednesday, May 21.
Tribal Council also named Controller Linda Hanna as interim Finance Officer to fill in for Julio Martinez, who resigned effective May 16.
Tribal Council also removed Martinez and former General Manager Mark Johnston, who resigned effective May 23, as signers on Tribal investment and bank accounts during the meeting.
Assistant General Manager Chris Leno has been named interim general manager until a replacement is hired for Johnston.
Tribal Council member Jon A. George and Land & Culture Department employees Bobby Mercier, Brian Krehbiel, Jan Looking Wolf Reibach and Mike Karnosh performed the cultural singing and drumming to open the meeting.
